Attractions

During the railroad era, Klipplaat was an important railway junction between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, with a line running northwards to Graaff-Reinet.

On the line to Willowmore the following stations can be found: Wongalethu, Miller, Draaiberg, and Oven.

On the line to Despatch the following stations can be found: Mount Stewart, Baroe, Wolwefontein, Kleinpoort, and Glenconnor.

On the line north to Graaff-Reinet the following stations can be found: Oatlands, Aberdeen Road, and Kendrew.
