The Tussen-die-Rivier Nature Reserve covers an area of 21'000Ha, and lies between the Gariep and Caledon rivers.
The landscape is a typical Free State expanse of grassland.
During the 1970s this area was repopulated with game.
Game: white rhino, plains zebra, blue and black wildebeest, mountain reedbuck and other antelope.
Grassland birdscan be viewed in the area.
Chalet accommodation is available.
