Camdeboo National Park

Western Cape.

The Camdeboo National Park (19'405Ha) surrounds the town of Graaff-Reinet, and along the Sneeuberg (Snow Mountains). Its elevation ranges between 740m and 1480m above sea level. Spandaukop (1316m) and Hangklip (1482m) are some of the highest peaks in the park.

The Nqweba Dam, north of Graaff-Reinet within the park, covers about 1000Ha. It is fed by Broederstroom and the Sundays River.

In the Valley of Desolation (in the west) are dolerite pillars of 90m – 120m high.
